A Short Newsletter
After 18 months of back-orders and endless delays we're finally close to being caught up on outstanding orders. All outstanding Tofino orders have been filled, Dionisio will be complete next week and back-ordered Ian Tyson Limited Edition guitars should be shipped mid next month. What a strange (and wonderful) feeling it is to actually have inventory! The web site comments from owners continue to reflect a pretty happy group of musicians and that alone is a huge morale boost for us! If you have friends who've expressed an interest in acquiring their own MacKenzie & Marr guitar read on.

Give a Friend a $100 Gift.

At least once a week we hear from one or more MacKenzie & Marr owners telling us how impressed their friends are by the guitar. It must be true because the majority of our sales are now the result of referrals from current owners. (You know who you are - Thank you so much)

Great Guitars, Great Cases - Lousy Hygrometer

All Tofino and Dionisio guitars shipped in the last couple of months have been sent in the new hardshell case. It's a significant upgrade from the original case (which in itself wasn't too shabby) with better materials, an extra clasp, additional neck support as well as a more comfortable padded handle. The one sad failure of the new case is the attached interior hygrometer. Knowing how important humidity control is for solid wood guitars we thought a hygrometer made sense. If it worked it would be a great tool but unfortunately it is wildly inaccurate. Please don't rely on it.

We're Looking For Videos

YouTube is a great venue for musicians to showcase their work. It can be a bit tough getting viewers though. If you've posted (or plan to post) a video of you playing your MacKenzie & Marr guitar send us the link. We'll publish it on the MacMarr site and, who knows, perhaps help boost your launch to stardom. (NB- your music must be original. We can't link to performers who may be in violation of copyright)
