Guitar makers put to the test on Dragon’s Den

Who can say anything bad about a slow news day if it puts us on the front page of the Kitchener Waterloo Record? Greg Mercer did a wonderful job of coalescing John's ramblings into a tight accurate article. A side benefit of the article was a host of e-mails from old Waterloo friends and aqaintances.

Most days, Jonathan MacKenzie's work involves check-ups, prescriptions and patient visits. But a new sideline has the good doctor concerning himself with the business of frets, strings and picks.

On April 20th the smiling face of Jonathan MacKenzie, one of the founding partners of MacKenzie & Marr Guitars made an appearance in doctors' offices across the country. Not in person, mind you, but on the cover of the latest edition of "The Medical Post" a trade magazine aimed at the medical profession. The accompanying article chronicles MacKenzie's day on Dragon's Den and the subsequent success of the company.
