The MacKenzie and Marr Logo

Little did my mother know in 1963 that the picture she snapped of Jonathan and me would end up inside one of the world's most exceptional guitars. Come to think of it - neither did I or I wouldn't have attempted the home-barber thing. It must have been the first day of school -WCI or Mac Gregor? We've got books under our arm. I'm wearing my fake Madras shirt (It didn't bleed like the real thing). Jonathan's got the same Beatles hair cut he had the year before - when there were no Beatles, at least in Waterloo Ontario - which goes to show that being first isn't always the road to fame.
I'm not sure if either one of us had started to play guitar by then. Jonathan might have taken up the Ukulele but it was a few month away from my first Harmony and a couple of years away from our Martins.

Guitar Purchase

Well I'm usually not much of a risk taker but I am a lifelong guitar lover and this I just couldn't resist. When my new Tofino arrives I'll know for certain whether I've made a wise decision or not. I'm BETTING I DID !
