Bonjour, il me fait plaisir de vous dire que je suis très satisfait de mon acquisition, parcontre je ne sais si c’est le transport mais la touche était beaucoup trop haute, (j’ai ajusté ma guitare avec la truss rod et tout semble correct) pour le son c’est super, une guitare de qualitée avec un prix très abordable, bonne continuité.

Really an incredible instrument, crafted beautifully. The action on it is unlike any acoustic I’ve played. Really warm rich tone, great feel. Thank you!

i first saw a Mac&Marr when a friend was playing a parlor sized model at a farmer's market.

i went to look at the website and was impressed from the first picture.

I recently purchased the Grand Mahan Too from Mackenzie and Marr. I have been playing a Larrivee L-05 for more than 30 years, but saw some reviews of Mackenzie and Marr and decided to try one. I contacted John Marr through email, because I was unsure which model would suit me best. When I explained that I played a lot of country blues and was doing more finger picking than strumming, he recommended the Grand Manan. Certainly the price was right, so I pre-ordered the guitar. Coincidentally, my wife and I spent our honeymoon on Grand Manan, so I thought the guitar name was very appropriate for me.

When the guitar arrived,to be honest, I first opened the box and wasn't too impressed with the matte open pore finish on the guitar. However, I've always owned gloss finish guitars so I think I just wasn't expecting such a dramatic difference. After owning the guitar for several weeks now, I find that I actually have come to like the look. One thing that impressed me right away was the clean, bright sound of the guitar. It produces very crisp notes with excellent separation between tones. It makes my beloved Larrivee sound a bit muddy.

The Grand Manan Too is a very loud guitar, especially when using a plectrum. After playing it for a while now I understand why Mr. Marr recommended this model. It is very well made, has great tuners, excellent fit and finish and comes with a top quality hardshell case. The sound, as I mentioned, is quite bright with resonant bass tones. I find it very good for my finger picking songs, so I believe my Grand Mahan Too is going to be my " go to" acoustic for many years.
