Rick from Lr. Sackville reviews their MacKenzie and Marr The Ian Tyson Inspiration

Am pleased with the overall quality and appearance of my Ian Tyson and only have one issue and that is the action. It is far too high and this should have been apparent during the setup by your luthier. This model is meant to be played up the neck because of the body design and therefore a lower action should have been made before shipping. I must now spend additional monies to bring the guitar to a luthier to do a proper setup. That being said, I like the sound and the quality of materials and it will be one of my go to guitars.
Thanks
Rick
