Opeongo 00 Small Body Acoustic GuitarThe Opeongo, well, its a huge bomb in a seemingly harmless dressing instrument and to add to its stealth, it is retardant. HIhiii... when I first reserved one in Feb. After having bought a ''Riverboat'' and finalized the buy in Aug. The ''riverboat'' had been taken place next to me on the sofa. At first, switching from a dreadnought to what at the time seemed like a toy and it went to partisan comparison check. Three days later it was boxed back and my mind was made up. I had put on a new set of XS on and adjust lightly the trust rod, the rest was spot on from Montreal, and set-ups are my special department, also building. So, against all odds there were extensions into the shipping and One month later I reopened the box and got the guitar out. She was still tune and I had someone with me to listen, but, needed no-one to, it was like letting the genie out the bottle. If a month made it fine wine, imagine 2 ..... So, now they stand both at arms length and Its nice grabbing a light instrument during commercial....HiHihi.. I cleaned those two beautiful moulded hard case that comes with it and went over with an lightly Mineral oil cloth to nourish the vinyl. Professionally build and balance, solid wood, a good mix of tone wood AAA and these guitar aren't hiding anything, taste, luxury, tonality, the setting, the stunning sustain/volume stands out among other guitars who cost three times, ''I know have one''. If you love guitar like everyone does, instead of buying the cheap ''plywood'' guitars sold everywhere and made by a ''worker''. You put $5.00 a day in a piggy bank, after 1 year you can be owning one made by ''professional'' and a member too! And you'll never look for a guitar again, it'll age with you beautifully. I am looking on getting the DIONISIO X cut away, Cedar/Mahogany soon Michel Levasseur, QC, CA.

The Grand Manan Too SunburstI have had my Grand Manan Too for a couple of years and I love it. It has the LR Baggs Anthem pickups in it and it sounds great, plugged in too. I have played far more expensive guitars that are no match for this one. I had a small issue when I received it but John looked after me. I wasn't sure about ordering a guitar I hadn't played but I will put it up against one costing two or three times more, and customer service is top notch.

Opeongo 00 Small Body Acoustic GuitarNice sound and feel. This guitar fits me perfectly. I have 6-guitars and this is the only one that can be relied upon to be in tune when I pick it up. I don't know how it happens; but, I'll take it.
Fit and finish are excellent.

Opeongo 00 Small Body Acoustic GuitarI am very pleased with the super balanced tone with this guitar...beautiful lows and sweet highs also...if this is the early sound of this guitar I know it will age well...really so superior to many of the entry level martins and Taylors...the only regret I might have is not ordering with the pickup...this guitar is a great friend already!

Edward From Hope Mills reviews their Mackenzie and Marr The Riverboat Dread - a Solid Wood Acoustic With an Adirondack Spruce Top
From Hope Mills
I have to admit, this Riverboat Dred is an excellent Guitar, from the Solid Woods, the Glossy Finish, the Golden Tuners and especially the LR Baggs Pick-up system. I have a Taylor 510e that cost me APP: $3.000.00 and I would put the Mackenzie/Marr ahead if I had to rate them side by side, and the cost was at least $1,000.00 cheaper. Thanks!

Opeongo 00 Small Body Acoustic GuitarBeautiful instrument! Gorgeous sound and quality. Playability out of the box was poor and not what I expected—string action was high at the nut and saddle with a low second fret. But I fixed all that and now the it plays like a charm.

The Ian Tyson Inspiration Acoustic GuitarI first came across McKenzie in Marr well looking into an acoustic guitar. As my attention began to wander I heard somebody strum a guitar and instantly knew that that was the sound I had been looking for. After some time looking and the humming & hawing I decided. Coming home late I picked up the phone and made a call ( I'm sure Mr. Marr was about to head home). A week after I got notice that the guitar was on its way. I showed great restraint and waited till after dinner to open the case. Oh does it ever look good; it's drop dead gorgeous. A quick check on tuning in the first strum what a wonderful beautiful full sound everything I had hoped, or could wish for. I could not be happier.

Opeongo 00 Small Body Acoustic GuitarThe Opeongo is exactly what I expected when I ordered it. A beautifully built, 00 guitar made with quality tonewood. It is especially good for finger style playing.
I've never had a 12 frets to the body guitar before, but it only took me about half an hour of playing to become comfortable.
I've had it out to open mics, and with the Anthem system installed, it performs beautifully.
I guess the thing which surprised me was how full and balanced the sound is for a small body guitar.
I honestly don't believe that there is a better 00 guitar available at this price point.
