And speaking of names, who was the knucklehead who came up with mine? It's like they looked at a map, said "here's the island of Grand Manan", then looked at me and said "Here's Grand Manan Too"
Know one thing about my role in the family. I'm the boomer! Everyone else in the room is trying to set themselves up as "projective" (like Tofino and Dionisio) or "orchestral" (my snooty Riverboat siblings) or "I'm so Florentine" (Ian Tyson Inspiration).
I make no such high falutin claims. I simply boom through the fog with a voice that commands the room.

Why is it called the Grand Manan Too?
Originally, we planned to call it the Grand Manan Two because it replaced the original slope-shouldered Grand Manan with a Grand Auditorium body.
Then someone wrote "Too."
"Is this the Grand Manan Two?"
"No...it's the Grand Manan Too."
"Isn't that what I said?"
Exactly.
The name was simply too much fun to change.
Is the Sunburst version different from the Natural model?
No. Both guitars share the same AAA grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, tonewoods, construction and setup. The only difference is the finish colour. Whether you choose the timeless look of Natural or the vintage-inspired character of Sunburst, you'll enjoy the same musical experience.

The finish was chosen to complement the musical destination of the Grand Manan Too. Along with its body design, tonewoods and setup, it contributes to the lightweight, responsive character we wanted this guitar to deliver.
