Don from Loveland reviews their MacKenzie and Marr The Ian Tyson Inspiration

I received the Ian Tyson Inspiration after waiting for a couple months and let me tell you it was worth the wait. The sound that comes out of this guitar is beautiful. It makes this novice guitar player sound much better than I am. The design of the guitar is not only attractive it also rest on my leg comfortably when I play. The wood and finish are stunning. Since I am a novice I wanted a professional’s opinion. So, I took it into a major big box guitar store and ask one of the managers if he could show me guitars comparable to this. I did not tell him the price. He is a seasoned guitar play and sat down and play my new guitar for sometime and said, ‘this is fun to play”. Then he compared it to the Martin D28 but with higher end finishes. He also said it was similar to a Taylor 614. He started to look for guitars of this caliber in the store but didn’t have them at that time. He finally ask how much I paid. I share the cost with him and he immediately stopped looking and ask if he could take a picture of the headstock because he wanted to check McKenzie and Marr out. All in all I am very please and excited to have The Ian Tyson Inspiration.
